THE CONCERT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO PERFORMER ILLNESS.

We regret to note that Severall Friends’ Sunday, September 17 concert–Monteverdi’s Venice–has been canceled. Our singer, Emily Noel, is ill. We will reschedule it for later this season. If you bought a ticket, we will begin processing reimbursements on Monday.

If you’d like a sneak peek at some of the instrumental repertoire from the concert, please join us for September 16th’s MarketMusic, the last concert of the summer season, at NMSA at noon.

Immerse yourself in a mesmerizing showcase of compositions by the visionary geniuses who shaped the soundscape of 17th Century Venice. From the soul-stirring notes of Monteverdi to the vibrant melodies of Castello and Marini, this concert promises an unforgettable journey through time. Soprano Emily Noël and lutenist Michael Leopold will join our ensemble in bringing these works to life.
