The Shadow of Night

*VENUE CHANGE*

We are saddened to announce that San Miguel Chapel will not be available to us for our October 31 performance in Santa Fe. This concert will be performed at the Collected Works Bookstore at 202 Galisteo St. Note that this is a much smaller venue, and we won’t know exactly how many seats we can fit until we set up this evening. We will accommodate as many people as we can, but we have stopped advance purchase.

The Shadow of Night: A Concert for All Hallows’ Eve

At the turn of the 17th Century, English people of both high and low degree practiced the occult arts, from alchemy and Cabala to spells and witchcraft. Be entranced by excerpts from contemporary diaries, diatribes, drama, poetry and music, touching on magic of all sorts. With Jonathan Richards, reader; Ryland Angel, tenor; Vicki Boeckman, recorders; Mark Rimple, lute; Mary Springfels, viols.
